Elizabeth Arden to Launch Next Generation of Prevage

Skincare "it" ingredients come and go, but one that is seemingly standing the test of time is idebenone, an antioxidant that is consistently proven to undo sun damage, especially UV-induced brown spots.

Elizabeth Arden's Prevage collection pioneered the use of this breakthrough ingredient almost five years ago, and the range of cream, moisturizer, sunscreen and body emulsion has gone on to be a hit among beauty editors (a picky bunch), dermatologists, and women everywhere who want to turn back the clock.

The newest addition to the lineup -- Prevage Face Advanced Anti-Aging Serum will hit counters mid-December through January -- is a new and improved version of the brand's former Face Advanced Anti-Aging Serum, which launched in 2005.

The serum packs a lot into one bottle -- in addition to idebenone, it also includes other antioxidants like green tea and bamboo isoflavones to protect against environmental damage. When used all together, this antioxidant cocktail addresses fine lines, spots, texture, firmness, redness and even minor scars.

Since none of this will do you a lick of good if you aren't wearing daily sunscreen, Elizabeth Arden launched the Prevage Day Ultra Protection Anti-Aging Moisturizer SPF 30 earlier this year, which protects from UV damage while repairing the skin with idebenone.
