Fendi recently won an impressive $4.7 million dollar judgement against Burlington Coat Factory for continuing to sell fake Fendi bags.
Now, Burberry claims TJX Co., the parent company of discount chains including T.J. Maxx and Marshalls, has been selling counterfeits in mass quantities, Reuters reports.
While millions of discount shoppers thought they were getting a designer steal, the Brit label headed to Manhattan federal court alleging that TJX has sold everything from counterfeit Burberry jackets, photo frames, polo shirts to scarves and luggage, over a span of four years.
According to the complaint, Burberry is hopping mad over TJX's attempt "to attract their target customer base and profit at Burberry's expense."
Not only is the luxury brand asking the court to stop the sale of the allegedly infringing products, but its lawyers are asking for triple damages and that TJX place "corrective advertisements."
From Burberry's courtroom track record, TJX better bring its legal A-game. The company known for its classic trenches recently took home a cool $1.5 million from a trademark infringement suit.

Madonna Launching Her Own Brand – Finally!
Filed under: Fashion, Celebrity, News, Designers & Brands, Celebrity Style, Shopping
Madonna now officially rules the world. Photo: Charles Eshelman, FilmMagic.com
Madonna has been busy negotiating a bevy of deals on all sorts of new fashion products.
For starters, the pop icon has entered into a joint venture with the Iconix Brand Group -- owners of Candie's, Badgley Mischka and Mossimo, to name a few -- to create MG Icon.
And MG Icon has entered into a license agreement to bring the aptly named Material Girl collection of fast fashion for juniors exclusively to Macy's starting in August.
"We are excited to announce the first in a series of new brands that will be developed under our partnership with Madonna," Iconix CEO and chairman Neil Cole said in a release.
"Material Girl has a powerful retail partner in Macy's, and we look forward to working together for our consumers."
The Material Girl collection was inspired and designed by Madonna, her daughter Lourdes Leon, and the Iconix in-house fashion department.
It will launch in about 200 Macy's stores with clothing as well as footwear, handbags and jewelry; priced from $12 to no more than $40. Expect Material Girl beauty items, fragrances and lifestyle products to follow.
As part of the Macy's deal, the department store chain will have the opportunity to launch additional exclusive brands with MG Icon in the future. May we suggest Blonde Ambition hair products, Girlie Show lingerie, or perhaps Ray of Light home furnishings?
Read what else Macy's has in store for the spring.

Alexander McQueen’s Last Collection Shown During Paris Fashion Week
Filed under: Fashion, News, Best of the Season, Designers & Brands, Fashion Week
Three dramatic looks from Alexander McQueen's last collection. Photos courtesy of Alexander McQueen
McQueen referred to the collection as "Angels and Demons" in tweets just weeks before his death. Inspired by Medieval art, the models had banded heads (sometimes with mohawk-like gold feathers) and severe nude faces reminiscent of Madonnas and Byzantine royals. The Dark Ages were reinterpreted in the form of cape-like coats and short drop-waist pleated dresses, with tapestry bodices in rich regal fabrics like red, ivory and gold.
The designer's usual attention to detail was impeccable. He took digital photographs of Bosch demons and church angels and translated them into woven jacquard prints. Gold embroidery embellished nearly every piece but on a rich red dress the effect was staggering. The clothes were couture-like, which is a common association McQueen's show pieces, but given circumstances it made for an emotional display.
The show's simplified setting also enhanced the poetic nature of the collection. (McQueen was known just as much for his dramatic shows as for his glorious clothes.) The closing look, a flowing long sleeve white gown with a fitted waist and a coat of gold feathers was breathtaking and felt like a glimpse of heaven.
Though PPR - which owns 51% of the Alexander McQueen label - has announced its plans to carry on without the namesake designer, it will never be the same. It was a bittersweet ending to an iconic career.
Find out who is rumored to replace the designer at his eponymous label.

Crystal Renn to Star Alongside Alessandra Ambrosio and Brooklyn Decker on Glamour Magazine Cover

According to WWD, the June cover of Glamour will star a delectable threesome of Victoria's Secret stunner Alessandra Ambrosio, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover girl Brooklyn Decker and "plus-size" model Crystal Renn, whose career has been soaring of late.
Renn recently appeared in back-to-back issues of V Magazine, including the provocative "Size Issue," which was inclusive of some super-curvy women including performer Miss Dirty Martini, shot by Karl Lagerfeld.
Perfect for a summer-themed issue, WWD reports that the three luscious ladies were photographed in St. Barths by Matthias Vriens-McGrath this past weekend. And, judging by pictures posted on Ambrosio's Twitter, it looks like bathing suits were involved, as was star hairstylist Ted Gibson.
The June cover not only sets a benchmark for featuring women of varying body types, but it also marks a return of using models (instead of celebrities). Ironically, the last time a model was featured (in May 2006), it was Ambrosio.
Renn's relationship with Glamour started with a fashion story in May 2009, then continued last fall when she appeared naked with a bevy of other "plus-sized" models in the November issue, also shot by Vriens-McGrath.
Most recently Renn ditched the runway for a front row seat at the shows in New York, working as a guest blogger for Glamour.com. Then she returned to the catwalk for the London and Milan shows, strutting her stuff for Mark Fast and Elena Miro, respectively.
When StyleList spoke with Renn last month, the model had some very exciting upcoming projects that she had to stay mum about. We're guessing this Glamour cover shoot might have been one of them.
Can a major ad campaign be far behind? We think not!

Sandra Bullock and Jesse James: The Odd Couple
Filed under: Celebrity, Celebrity Style
Sandra Bullock grabs a burger with her hubby. Photo: EXCLU/X17online.com
Not that fashion has anything to do with love, but these two are total opposites. If Bullock does have a wild side, we never see it. Sure, she might make some offbeat fashion and beauty choices, but nothing remotely resembling the grungy garage style of her hubby.
After hitting a high point at the Oscars in her stunning Marchesa gown, I imagined Bullock would dress way down on weekends and days off, as she's earned it. But here, Bullock looks absolutely polished on an average Monday afternoon. To hit the local burger joint, she wears heels and a slim black suit. Go figure!
On the flip side, there's husband Jesse in overalls, beat-up sneakers, with his tats on full display. James allegedly used to serve as a bodyguard for bands like Slayer and Soundgarden, eventually breaking off on his own to start a successful motorcycle company, West Coast Choppers. (He also conveniently owns a burger joint called Cisco Burgers, where the couple were headed in the photo above).
So... bands, burgers, motorcycles, and tattoos. I think we can confirm that Sandra has a thing for the all-American bad boy. They certainly seem in love and have no aversion to PDA -- Bullock even declared to James "I want you," during her acceptance speech at the SAG Awards this year in front of millions of people.
Do you think this couple is here to stay? Do you think they're too different to make it work? And would you let your man leave the house in overalls? Leave a comment and let us know.

Liberty of London at Target – Run, Don’t Walk!
Filed under: Fashion, News, Best of the Season, Designers & Brands
Everything is coming up roses with the Liberty of London for Target line. Photo: Courtesy Target
Trippy, happy floral prints adorn dresses, blouses and bathing suits, just right for summer. And while Liberty has a venerable 134-year history, there is nothing fussy or old-lady here.
These florals look fresh and young, proportioned to be flattering on almost all body types. But they also evoke thoughts of proper girls picnicking on English countryside meadows, and a time when fashionable also, without fail, meant pretty.
For the boho girls, there there are lovely, floaty sundresses. Maxy-dresses come in a halter style and another is one-shouldered -- right on trend.
I like a more structured look and instead picked up a pink-and-orange floral shift. Fully lined, and fitted with seaming and two well-placed box pleats in the back, I am already planning on wearing this to dinner with my in-laws on Block Island, R.I., this summer and maybe even to my sister's wedding rehearsal dinner.
Guess the price? A cool $34.99. I really should have bought my sister one, too. Seriously, with almost everything under $30, I should have bought something for both my sisters, cousins and mothers, as well.
Lots of the fashiony girls (hello, Naomi Watts!) at the opening of a four-day cuter-than-cute pop-up store near New York's Bryant Park were also agog over the pajamas and intimates. Outstanding pieces included a super cute cropped kimono robe and a multi-paneled bra and matching panties.
For little girls, the Liberty of London for Target line offers dresses and bathing suits that will look just right next to mom, plus sweet tote bags, flip-flops and rainboots. For guys there are boxers, long -sleeve floral shirt sand cotton neckties.
And I haven't even talked about the housewares here. But let's just say you're going to want a mug to coordinate with your dress.
The collection -- the first designer collaboration for Target that spans several categories -- reworks a total of 25 prints from the 43,000 in the Liberty of London archives. Different selections will hit different stores, and some items will be available only online.
This stuff isn't going to last for too long. Mark your calendars for Sunday and get ready to dream of summery days ahead.

American Idol ‘Do Review: Katelyn Epperly’s Curls Rocked the Stage
Filed under: Cuts & Style, Hair, Celebrity Hair

Singing Carole King's "I Feel the Earth Move", the Iowa native may not have sounded like King, but her curly locks sure did resemble the 70s singer/songwriter.
Judge Randy Jackson commented on how Katelyn looked like King and even Simon Cowell said, "I like your hair." If you ask us, we have to agree with Cowell. Don't worry about what else the judges had to say -- you've locked down our vote!
Want to rock out your own curly locks? It's all in the product, celebrity hairstylist, Danielle Caputo told StyleList in an earlier interview. By starting with a spray-in conditioner and adding a good curl cream with your fingers (not a comb), you can get your hair ready for the scrunching and diffusing that comes next. The trick is to dry from roots to the ends, getting your hair right up to the diffuser.
When your hair is dry, if you decide you want more volume at the roots, just spray a little water there to reactivate the products and diffuse a bit longer. Finishing off with a light wax will help to set everything and hold those waves in place.
For more Curls 101, watch the complete video.

Jennifer Aniston Rumored To Launch Fragrance
Filed under: Fragrance, Beauty, Celebrity, News, Celebrity Beauty
Get ready to smell like Jennifer Aniston. Photo: Getty Images
Industry insiders say that Jennifer Aniston - one of the only A-list Hollywood stars to not have launched or partnered with a beauty product - is rumored to soon sign a deal with the Falic Group to possibly create her own fragrance later this year. If the deal comes through, it would be the second celeb steal for the Falic Group, who signed Desperate Housewife star Eva Longoria last year for an upcoming April fragrance launch.
The potential project comes at a busy time for the 40 year-old actress, whose latest film, The Bounty Hunter, is set to open on March 19th - followed by "The Switch," which will release later this year. She is currently filming "Just Go With It," and is in pre-production for "The Goree Girls."
We're surprised that Aniston - whose "Rachel" layered cut launched a decade-long cross-country craze - didn't go for what would seemingly be the logical route of hair care products. But money could be talking; celeb fragrance payouts can reach the same dizzying multi-million dollar heights of film productions. Industry experts say that A-listers can fetch as much as $3 million to $10 million for a contract.
Now that's what we call a sweet-smelling deal.

Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler Get Steamy for W Magazine
Filed under: Fashion, Celebrity, News, Celebrity Style

Um, looks like two certain someones need to get a room.
Namely, Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler, who are too hot to handle on W Magazine's April cover.
The "Bounty Hunter" co-stars' sexy pic -- way to put those dating rumors to rest -- was snapped by legendary lensman Steven Klein and styled by Alex White over a two-day photo shoot in Canyon Country, Calif.
Klein also photographed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as a '60s suburban couple for the Pitt-conceptualized W cover and lengthy feature a few years back -- a shoot that Aniston dubbed insensitive.
Looks like two can play that game!
Aniston also sheds her girl-next-door image in a plunging Alberta Ferretti nude silk chiffon frock paired with Carine Gilson Couture lingerie, sultry Stella McCartney garters and white Lanvin heels for a look inspired by Kim Basinger in "9 1/2 Weeks," according to Aniston's hairstylist, Chris McMillan.
And if you think the cover is sexy, wait until you see the inside images, which show an Agent Provocateur garter-clad Aniston being read her rights by Butler, who's sporting a tight policeman's uniform.
And they say crime doesn't pay.
Aniston also rocks looks from Fendi and Dolce & Gabbana in the shoot, which marks W's first shopping issue, allowing readers to purchase everything the actress wears in the shoot.
For your dose of steamy desert action, pick up the April issue of W, which hits stands March 17.
Meanwhile, check out Kirsten Dunst's new cover for V.
