You know her as the ditsy blonde on MTV's former show "Newlyweds." A pop superstar, she's had a string of hit records and was married to a teen idol hearthrob. Yes, Jessica Simpson seemed to have it all and alot of it. Except men. Apparently she has an appetite for the opposite sex that her former husband, Nick Lachey, could not fullfill.
According to countless media reports, Jessica Simpson cuckolded Lachey many times during their brief marriage. From a rumored romp with several male strippers to widely reported flings with singer Adam Levine, actor Johnny Knoxville, and his wingman Bam Margera, Simpson's healthy sexual lifestyle has earned her the distinction of "scandalous!"
In the April 2006 issue of Rolling Stone, Nick Lachey refused to confirm reports that Simpson was unfaithful during their marriage – but fell short of denying them.
"If she did cheat, it was the result of something bigger, not the reason we didn't work." Lachey said.
The reason, it seems, is Simpson's love of sexual adventure!
"Sometimes I think it would be easier if I had just walked in the house and found her in bed with a guy. That would be clear-cut. End of story. I wouldn't have to deal with the uncertainty of adultery."
There is no doubt that in the divorce drama of Lachey and Simpson, it was Simpson who took the bigger public-relations hit. The reporting -- covers of multiple magazines, week after week, month after month -- favored Lachey as the cuckolded underdog.
When it was printed that Simpson slept with Knoxville on the set of The Dukes of Hazzard, Lachey said nothing. He did not ask for confirmation or denial, and Simpson did not offer them.
